CLAIR is described as modern day romantic. As an artist of the people, lovers, musicians, and families fill her canvases, as well as dreamy landscapes that put your mind at peace. A first love, a last love, a memory, lovers sipping wine, being enlightened, inspired by sweet music… those moments are ours to remember – but the speed of time can erase the memories we all take for granted. Drawing forth the spectrum of emotions and moods that reside deep inside all of us, she tries to capture a snapshot of that moment on canvas.

Art is the stored honey of the human soul, and Clair says if LOVE is the most powerful feeling in the world, then she hopes her paintings will bring her collectors a little more love, and meaning and happiness in their lives.  CLAIR’S amazing ability to bring this soulful human quality to fruition through her art stems from her dreams and her own life experiences. She truly believes If you surround yourself with things that reflect who you want to be and how you want to feel, that energy in contagious!

Raised in upstate NY, CLAIR drew her way through those cold winter days, then soon after high school she moved to Virginia where she got a BFA in painting/design at ODU. She has shown her work in many galleries all over the United States, but she had enough cold to last a lifetime and now has found home in sunny San Diego where she lives with her three biggest inspirations: her husband Eric, daughter Ayla and son Milo.
