Sarah Stieber

Sarah Stieber

Contemporary artist Sarah Stieber’s style of Electric Realism is a stunning amplification of real life, using a bejeweled palette of brilliant hues and evocative energy to explore a spirited reality. A spectacle of saturated colors, her paintings are a kaleidoscope to her world of wishful seeing, magnifying the human experience with dazzling color too often hidden in plain sight.

From her studio in San Diego, California, Stieber vivaciously harnesses the bold and the vibrant. Her radiant figurative depictions showcase Stieber’s fascination with the human condition. Her work shines a brilliant light on daily life, depicting her subjects in a moment of overcoming adversity and achieving the mindfulness and playfulness that reality often corrodes.

Before graduating Cum Laude with a fine arts degree and a concentration in Psychology from Boston University, Stieber spent time living and painting in Venice and Florence, Italy, inspired by the Master’s works that blanket the cities. Stieber’s artistic talent flourished at a young age, winning national art competitions as a child.
Stieber has created custom work for global brands such as Marriott International and Effen Vodka. Her vibrant paintings are featured in art collections both nationally and internationally. She has been selected as a Featured Artist for the famed Beverly Hills artSHOW and San Diego’s North Park Festival of Arts. Her paintings were spotlighted at Spectrum Miami and at an exhibition at the Oceanside Museum of Art, and she recently won “Best in Show” at the La Jolla Art Festival. Stieber has been on the front cover of numerous publications, including the San Diego Daily Transcript, CityBeat, and The Reader, and she has appeared on Fox 5, the CW6, and NBC news.
